Few stars shone as brightly in the Jewish heavens of the 19th Century as Rabbi Moshe Sofer, the Chasam Sofer (1762-1839). Authoritative halachic decisor, rabbi, teacher, commentator, leader -- the range of his activity is breathtaking.
