Forewarned is forearmed! With substitutes scheduled to fill in during a schoolwide teachers' strike, there is no way the eighth-graders are not going to take advantage of the situation. When the rest of the grades hear about the plan, they're all in.

But finding substitutes for every grade at once can be challenging, and Yeshiva of Hillsdale is no exemption. Out of sheer desperation, two eighth-graders are recruited to substitute for the third grade. And then the fun begins - for the third-graders at least. Struggling to control a situation that quickly spirals out of control, the substitutes and students alike experience a week like no other.

Major mix-ups and mayhem, including runaway frogs, puzzling puddles, and overwhelming gaseous fumes, are just a small part of what takes place in this book. Accept no substitutes! The students of Yeshiva of Hillsdale didn't - and here are the results.

Operation Sink the Sub - the latest entertaining novel from M.C. Millman, author of Secret Summer, Once Upon an Invention, and 42 other popular titles.
