Wouldn’t you love the chance to say Tehilim with Rav Chaim Kanievsky? In Rav Chaim Kanievsky on Tehilim, the Sar HaTorah leads us through David HaMelech’s holy, immortal words. Collected from Rav Chaim’s extensive writings, these Torah insights give us a new understanding of Sefer Tehilim. In addition, Tehilim’s many themes come to life as we read, and enjoy, dozens of stories about Rav Chaim himself, his beloved wife Rebbetzin Kanievsky, and his illustrious family -- his father, the Steipler; his uncle, the Chazon Ish; and his mechutan, Rav Aharon Leib Steinman. A fascinating section discusses Rav Chaim’s own practices, the importance he places on reciting Tehilim, his advice on how to harness the immense power of its words, and a list of chapters of Tehilim that Rebbetzin Kanievsky would recommend for various challenges. Rav Chaim Kanievsky on Tehilim includes the Hebrew text, fully vowelized, a flowing and readable English translation, and short introductions to each chapter. Rabbi Shai Graucher, coordinator of the project, is an almost daily visitor to Rav Chaim, privileged to have a close relationship with Rav Chaim and many members of the Kanievsky family. He has taken upon himself the mission of bringing Rav Chaim’s Torah thoughts to the English-speaking public. In Rav Chaim Kanievsky on Tehilim, he shares the brilliance of Rav Chaim’s teachings and the amazing stories of his and his family’s devotion to Hashem, His Torah and His people. This is a book that will transform the way we say Tehilim - and the way we live our lives.
