Where is Hashem in our daily lives?

As we go through our daily lives, facing various obstacles and challenges, it is all too easy to forget Hashem’s presence hovering over us, His constant supervision, and His love for us. On a grander scale, when tragedy strikes, we may wonder, Why is this happening?

As we recall the tragedies that have befallen our nation over the past century, we may think, Where was G-d in the Holocaust? As believers and children of believers, we may ponder the question and wish we could clarify the Torah’s perspective on it.

In this wide-ranging collection of essays, among them a pivotal discussion on the Holocaust, seasoned author and educator Rabbi Michoel Fletcher allows us to taste the sweetness of our connection with Hashem...even when He is hidden from us.

The Hidden Light is a treasure trove of inspiration and insight into our daily and yearly practices and contemporary events. Rounded out by hashgachah pratis stories that occurred to the author and his family, it will be a welcome addition to the shelves of any Jewish home and library.
