Take & Bake is a contemporary and refreshing guide to the laws of taking challah.

With creative style and flair, the book thoroughly debunks any myth that could minimize or downplay the scope and relevance of these halachos. Adding to the book’s accessibility are the dozens of illustrative examples that utilize familiar scenarios with colorful characters to deepen the understanding and application of the laws being explained.

The various chapters include:

How To Take Challah
A clear step-by-step guide to correct observance of this mitzvah
Lost Challah
What to do when the challah piece has gone missing
Challah Parties
Communal challah events and what can go wrong by them
The Challah Chronicles
A real-life collection of challah-compromised situations

The book also includes a comprehensive index, a quick-reference "challah-troubleshooter” guide, and a section of notes and source material for the scholar seeking greater insight.

by Rabbi Avrohom Bookman
Avrohom Bookman was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and attended high school in Manchester, England.  After learning in yeshivos in Gateshead and Eretz Yisrael, he spent twenty-three years in Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood, NJ, gaining both semichas Yoreh Yoreh and Yadin Yadin.  Since then, he has continued kollel studies back in Manchester, where he is a much sought-after speaker and lecturer.  This current work follows in the footsteps of his three previous books, presenting less-known halachic topics in an original and entertaining format.
